October is approaching and that means one thing – tonnes of scary movies are going to be released.

And towards the end of the year, producers and production houses are racing to release festive and also superhero/action movies.

Amidst all those upcoming movies, you must be wondering, “Where should I start?”

Well, before these movies come out, there are plenty of new trailers released recently, so we list down the top five trailers you should watch.

#1 Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

The most awaited movie in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beast universe is finally coming to the silver screens! So many questions about Newt’s past, Grindelwald's identity, and Dumbledore’s role will be answered. The best part about it? It was revealed that one of Voldemort’s hocrux, Nagini the Snake, is actually a person! Can’t wait to see all the new magical beasts in this sequel.

Release Date: 15 November 2018
Cast: Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Jude Law, Johnny Depp

#2 Bumblebee

Autobots, roll out! Your favourite Transformer, Bumblebee is set to star in its first ever standalone movie. Set in 1987, Bumblebee is discovered by Charlie, who’s trying to find her place in the world. The trailer looks very promising, so we hope it doesn’t disappoint like the recent Transformer movies.

Release Date: 20 December 2018
Cast: Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Martin Short, Jorge Lendeborg Jr.

#3 Creed 2

If anyone has seen the first installment of Creed, everyone would agree that it’s one of the best boxing movies ever made after Rocky. Michael B. Jordan returns to reprise his role as Adonis Creed, who is mentored by Rocky Balboa himself. Adonis is set to face off against Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago who killed his father decades ago. Sounds like a lot of drama is about to go down!

Release Date: 21 November 2018
Cast: Tessa Thompson, Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone

#4 Dark Phoenix

The X-Men go back in time where a young Jean Grey just discovered her extraordinary powers after a childhood incident left her traumatised for life. Her powers are unfortunately too overwhelming, which in turn corrupted her mind, turning her into the Dark Phoenix. Now, young Professor X and a very young team of X-Men must decide what to do with her in order to save the world.

Release Date: 5 February 2019
Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Tye Sheridan, Jessica Chastain, Sophie Turner, James McAvoy

#5 Captain Marvel

Our first reaction after watching the trailer: OMG, what a badass! Brie Larson plays Major Carol Danvers, who everyone is speculating will be the key to saving the Avengers and defeat Thanos. In this movie, we’ll get a first insight on who Captain Marvel is and her origins story. Plus, we'll also get to see a really young Samuel L. Jackson (after CGI effects, of course).

Release Date: 7 March 2019
Cast: Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn
