Remember when you were young, you watched Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles
and absolutely fell in love with the tale of a family who were actually former superheroes forced to live their lives like normal civilians after several lawsuits due to collateral damage from their crime-fighting adventures?
We were introduced to each family member who had their own unique superpowers as well as one of the most iconic characters in animation history – Edna Mode
(honestly, who could ever forget her signature hairstyle, glasses, and bossy demeanor?)
The movie was a hit with fans and movie critics; it also won a few prestigious accolades. A few years later, rumour of a sequel surfaced but fans waited for so long – 13 years
to be exact, and there was still no Incredibles 2
anywhere to be seen.
But recently, Disney/Pixar finally put an end to the long, excruciating wait and released the much-anticipated trailer teaser for Incredibles 2
which raked up an incredible 14,243,004 views
(and counting) at the time of posting.
The 52-second teaser also set a new record – it became the highest-viewed debut trailer ever for an animated film and also seventh highest in movie history.
The trailer shows Jack Jack discovering his superpowers with Mr.Incredible looking very excited and pleased about his development.
The long-awaited sequel will feature The Incredibles family and Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) working hand in hand to take down an unknown new villain.
The Incredibles 2
is set to premiere in cinemas 15 June 2018
