It looks like the Mazda CX-5 Turbo isn’t the only one getting all the goodies, the entire CX-5 family gets to play the same too! Well, except for the turbo because that bit is only reserved for the CX-5 Turbo and the CX-5 2.2 Diesel.
In any case, the Mazda CX-5’s infotainment gets a boost with the inclusion of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the system. The old instrument cluster goes into retirement, and its replacement is the same one found in the new generation Mazda3, which features a 7.0-inch TFT display. However, then Coloured Windshield Projection Display will only be available for the CX-5 Turbo.
The G-Vectoring Control in all Mazda CX-5 will be upgraded to the GVC Plus. The new system improves stability of the SUV by dabbing brakes to the wheels whenever needed. This light braking will accompany the light torque adjustment in the engine to make the CX-5 have even better road manners.
If you’ve missed the CX-5 Turbo’s first showing, you can still catch it at Bangsar Shopping Centre from today until the 15 September 2019. The CX-5 will be shown alongside the Mazda6 that has been upgraded for 2019.
At this time, Mazda Malaysia has not revealed the prices yet. But are you really going to let a bunch of numbers stop you from getting one?
