Doctors Find Spoons, Screwdrivers, Toothbrushes And A Knife In Man's Stomach
Speak about having a weird appetite.

A group of doctors in India had the shock of their lives when examining a patient who checked into the Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College and Hospital in Manali complaining of a stomachache.

According to a report by The Times Of India, the doctors took an X-ray and were shocked to discover seven spoons, a knife, two toothbrushes, two screwdrivers and even a small rod in his gut.

They then performed an operation to remove the items. The operation reportedly took four hours.

Lots of things in the stomach.
“When we operated on him, re recovered more things we had never seen but only read about in books. He is a known case of psychiatric disorder. Now he is stable,” Dr Suraj Bhardwaj was quoted as saying.

According to the news portal, the 35-year-old man was reportedly rushed to the medical center by his family after complaining of severe pain. Doctors were stunned to find the tip of a knife protuding out from his stomach.

The man's family told the website that he suffers from a rare condition which makes him eat unusual objects, and he has been under medication for a very long time.

Thankfully, all is well with the man after the surgery. We guess he'll get his appetite back in no time.
