Here's Dr M's Secret To Having Boundless Energy: Sleep Less

Did you know that our Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad will be turning 94 years old this July?

Running an entire country is hard enough for a 40 years old -- let alone at 93, right? -- but Dr M seems to be able to breeze through an entire day filled with meetings and events without breaking a sweat.

Considering that we can't even wake up in the morning to go to work, it's rather amazing that Dr M can stand the daily grind with a smile on his face.

And yes, we've seen the viral photo of his dietary supplement (thanks Dr M for selling out Berocca everywhere!), but we have a feeling that he gets his boundless energy from a different source, like a Tesseract maybe.

We don't have to wonder no more, because Dr M has just revealed his secret to his seemingly endless energy: sleep less.

No more naps!
The nonagenarian told The Star Online that on top of not overeating, he spends less time lying down and more time being active, eventhough sometimes he physically can't.

According to Dr M, who studied medicine at the King Edward VII College of Medicine in Singapore, your body becomes weak when you are not active.

"When you do exercise, you are using your muscles more. But when you lie down, you fade away,” he was quoted as saying, adding that he tries to go to bed at 11pm every day and wake up at 6am.

Also, he added that you should use your brain more (heh!).

“If you get tired and go to bed and do not think, do not conceive ideas, do not argue, you don’t find solutions to problems, if you don’t use your brains – it loses the capacity."

Be active like Dr M, boys and girls!
So, sleep less, move more and use your brain. Got it, thanks for the tips, Dr M.

We will proceed to be more active after waking up from our daily afternoon nap.
