The General Election heat is turning up as we approach D-day in approximately three more weeks.
So, now that everyone knows when the election day will take place - 9 May, in case you still didn't know - all that’s left to do is to plan your journey back to your hometown (if you’re voting in another city or state) as well as find out where you will be voting.
You can now check where you will be casting your ballots using one of these four methods:
1) Head over to the Election Commission’s website pengundi.spr.gov.my
2) Download the MySPR Semak
mobile app which is available on both Apple App store and Google Play
3) Call 03-8892 7018
4) Text SPR<space>[IC Number]
But before you do so, make sure you are a registered voter who is eligible to vote this year OK. If not, don’t get upset if there is no polling station assigned to you.
Remember to plan your day on the polling day, as voting will only run from 8a.m. to 5p.m.
So, where will you guys be voting this year?
