Manchester United fans, the anticipation is finally over! The whole Paul Pogba transfer saga has finally come to an end after the football club released a statement
this morning confirming Pogba’s transfer from Italian club, Juventus. The French man has been with Juventus for the past four seasons and prior to his stint at Juventus, he was playing for Manchester United (MU). The English club tweeted out a series of videos and photos a few hours ago teasing fans of Pogba’s return. The hashtags #POGBACK and #GGMU have been trending ever since.
Paul Pogba also tweeted out a thank you note to his former club.
The footballer created history after his transfer made him the most expensive football player. He has signed a five-year contract with MU for £89 million (RM466.09 million)
. His predecessor, Gareth Bale was signed to Real Madrid for £85 million (RM445.14 million) back in 2013. This was the first time in 20 years an English club has paid a world-record fee since Alan Shearer’s move to Newcastle United from Blackburn Rovers for £15 million (RM78.55 million).

Pogba is delighted to reunite with MU and says that the club has a “special place” in his heart and he’s “really looking forward to working with José Mourinho”. He also added: "This is the right club for me to achieve everything I hope to."
In an exclusive first interview with MU, he shared that one of the reasons he was back because "I didn't finish what I started here."
It seems that almost everyone is pleased with the transfer news especially the fans. Although some may be skeptical over the exorbitant amount spent on the French man, others appear to be looking forward to his appearance with MU. Will he be worth the £89 million (RM466.09 million) spent? Well, guess we’ll have to wait and see until the next season starts.
