Hear ye, hear ye, the Queen of England has a proclamation to make! Her Royal Highness (HRH) Queen Elizabeth the II is currently looking for a housekeeping assistant at the Buckingham Palace. as well as a 15% employer contribution pension scheme and benefits.

So, what are the perks of the job? Well apart from seeing the royal family and their adorable grandchildren – Prince George and Princess Charlotte in their natural environment, accommodation and meals will be provided plus 33 days of annual leave.

But with every great paycheck comes great responsibility, so this job isn’t your average housekeeping position. “This is no standard housekeeping role. You’ll work, and live, in stunning historic settings, ensuring that they’re presented to their best for colleagues, guests and, of course, the Royal Family,” cites the job listing.
“Aiming for the highest standards, you’ll clean and care for interiors and items from carpets and furniture to historic vases and irreplaceable paintings,” the website added.
