If you eat, sleep, crave, and repeat durian buffet sessions all-year round, then we’ve got some news that’ll make you and your taste buds happy.
On Tuesday The Star
reported that due to the extended durian season and overflow of supply, durian prices have plummeted.
The fasting month had also affected durian sales which contributed to an increase of the King of Fruits supply.
In Penang, a durian stall along Macalister Road was seen selling durians in a plastic container for as low as RM10
The owner of the stall told the English daily that the low price was set since the month of May due to declining sales. They have decided to retain the price for the time being.
So, guys not only you can save some money eating durian because we heard that the durian season is also expected to last until September!
Ok BRB guys, going to plan a durian trip until September.
