Cats are arguably the most adorable, domesticated fluff balls that will undoubtedly melt your heart.

These feline companions will love you unconditionally regardless of who you are and where you are from. That is why even our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, has also adopted a few cats over the years.

It is no secret that our PM is actually a cat person himself, but among his cats, there is one that stood out the most – Kiky.

The beautiful ginger Persian cat joined the Razak household in 2010, according to The Malay Mail Online, and it has been living a carefree life roaming freely in the Prime Minister’s official residence ever since.

You're so fluffy we can die!
She knows who's the real boss in this house.
Honestly, we think Kiky might even be more popular than the PM himself, since a photo of the cat can rake up to almost 19,000 likes on Instagram!

Hello Najib, we think Kiky wants to be the next PM.
On 28 September, probably due to popular demand from Kiky’s fans, Najib decided to set up an Instagram account for his cat with the handle @kikyseriperdana.

We only have like 20%25 of your followers on Instagram, Kiky.
According to Kiky's Instagram bio, the Persian cat enjoys back rubs, food, and treats (honestly, we humans enjoy these things too). But Kiky unfortunately hates other cats in the house.

Kiky has close to 3,000 followers on Instagram (still probably more than you) to date.

The most popular cat in Malaysia

However, Kiky is not be the most popular cat on social media as that title goes to Bujibu Chempel, a male Russian cat that belongs to local actress Hanis Zalikha.

Believe it or not, Bujibu Chempel has over 1 million a-meow-zing followers on Instagram! The two-year-old grey cat is so popular that even people are creating parody accounts of the cat.

Ok lah Bujibu, you win.
Bujibu and Hanis Zalikha's son, Yusuf.
Among the reasons people enjoy following Bujibu is due to his witty photo captions and grumpy-faced antics.

So if you are a true cat lover, we recommend you to follow Kiky and Bujibu Chempel’s Instagram accounts now! Trust us, you won’t regret it.
