Recipe: Steamed Lala (Clams) With Rice Wine
A dish that tastes good once it opens up

STEAMED LALA (CLAMS) WITH RICE WINE

INGREDIENTS:

Ingredients | Rojak Daily

Sesame Oil
Red Chili x 1 (sliced)
Ginger (10 slices)
Salt
Clams (600g)
Rice Wine
Spring Onions (as garnish)

METHOD:

Prep | Rojak Daily
  • Add some sesame oil to a preheated pan
  • Throw in the sliced red chillies and ginger and a pinch of salt
  • Sautee the ingredients until fragrant 
  • Add in the clams and some water (just a little, about 4 tablespoons) then stir
  • Cover the pot and let the clams simmer and open up 
  • Add a splash of rice wine and let it cook for 20 more seconds
  • Garnish with some chopped spring onions
