As kids, we’ve all played with marbles. For some reason, it is oddly satisfying to watch and listen to these shiny glass orbs roll around. But when was the last time you actually touched a marble?
Believe it or not, somebody out there actually devotes his life to a little known preoccupation called marble racing.
Jelle Baker spends most of his time creating epic marble tracks and races. He even has a whole YouTube channel
dedicated to this hobby!
Watch Baker’s latest marble run where he made 100,000 marbles roll down a course all at once:
Feast your eyes on some glowing marbles.

This activity may seem strange to you. But for some, these videos have become an alternative entertainment and even a certain kind of audio therapy, similar to ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) videos.
Baker builds tracks for marble-centric activities, from plain races to elaborate tournaments watched by hundreds of thousands of people. Some of his tracks can go up to hundreds of feet long!
To date, Baker’s ‘Jelle’s Marble Runs’ channel on YouTube has gained over 100,000 subscribers and more than 41 million views.
So if you're feeling a little stressed out, take a break from your mundane daily tasks and lose yourself with these little marbles!
