This New Malaysian Retail Outlet Is The Most High Tech Store In The Region
Ah…technology. What would we do without it?

Are you one of those people who prefer to use e-wallets for your payments rather than go hunting for an ATM when shopping?

You’re going to love this news! JDX Presto Concept Store is set to open in Malaysia and it’s going to be cashless and offers a seamless shopping experience.

But do you know why we are super excited about the opening of this store though? Here are five reasons:

#1 You’ll find everything in here (and we mean, everything!)

Don’t you just hate it when you go to a shopping center and you don’t find the stuff you need, and now you have to hop to another shopping center just to find the items you’re missing?

You won’t have that problem at JDX Presto Concept Store.

The store, located inside Quill City Mall, is a massive 50,000 square foot space selling everything from electrical items to gadgets, from health and beauty essentials to home and living products.

Oh, they even sell fashion and even food and beverage too.

Whatever you want to buy, chances are, they have it. Isn’t that convenient?

#2 You don’t need cash to shop here

No more looking for ATMs
JDX Presto Concept Store is the product of a joint effort between PUC, Smuzcity and Jingdong China to create a cashless retail scene in Malaysia.

They consider the store to be the future of retail, where technology meets retail. With that in mind, they’ve positioned the Concept Store as the largest cashless concept store in Asean.

So, how do you pay for the items you want? By using their own e-wallet – PrestoPay. Just scan the product’s QR code and it will be automatically placed into your shopping cart.

With just a tap of the button, you can pay for your purchases.

#3 You can pick up the products yourself, or have them delivered for free

Fast and easy
Instead of shopping online and having to return products that you’re unhappy with (ugh, we hate that, don’t we?), you can now see, touch and access a product before purchasing – all with a little assistance from technology, of course.

Also, you don’t need to worry about lugging all your purchases around the store or even home. All you have to do is scan the QR code of the product you’re interested in, pay at the end of your shopping spree and collect the products as you leave.

You can also arrange for a free home delivery and receive the items within seven working days.

#4 An AI fridge at your service

We know how tiring shopping can be, so don’t worry; JDX Presto Concept Store has got you covered.

Whenever you feel like you need a drink, just head over to the AI and RFID-powered fridge located inside the store to purchase your favourite beverage. To unlock the unmanned fridge, you just need to scan the QR code and you can proceed to pick out your favourite items.

Once the door closes, it will automatically deduct the total incurred from your e-wallet. Cool huh?

#5 Goodies for everybody

*terms and conditions apply
You can start feeding the shopaholic in you beginning 12 December 2019, the day that JDX Presto Concept Store opens its doors to the public.

To celebrate the opening of this super high-tech store, they are giving you a chance to save on selected products and even win amazing prizes.

For starters, the first 300 customers will get to purchase selected products at only RM12.12!

(You can start queuing for the products as early as 8.30am on the day, and start going in at 11am to pick the best items)

Adding to the joy of shopping and reasonably-priced items, customers shopping at the store between 12 and 31 December also stand the chance of winning five pairs of Hong Kong Disneyland Theme Park admission tickets!
All you need is the app

So, what are you waiting for? Download the Presto App on the Apple Store or Google Play and start your shopping spree.

Oh, in case you’re wondering, the app is all in English, so you don’t even need a translator if you don’t understand Chinese. You can also pay for all your purchases in Ringgit, so no exchange rates are involved.

One last thing: if you’re visiting the retail outlet between the launch date and 15 December, keep your eyes peeled for PrestoPay QR codes in the outlet as well as the mall to earn PrestoPay Credits.

We don’t know about you, but we’re definitely super excited and we can’t wait for JDX Presto Concept Store to open its doors in Malaysia!
