If you're a fan of Irish boy band Westlife, you will be happy to know that your love and support is valued by the group.
Recalling his memories when the group was in Malaysia for their concert in 2003, Westlife lead vocalist Mark Feehily said he was touched by the support and love given to him and the band.
He said in a report quoted by Astro Awani
that they were treated so well that they could not forget the feeling of being in this country.
“I remember being 18 or 19 years old and landing in Malaysia, and everyone was so hyped up. Everything was so amazing.”
Feehily said he was so touched that everyone knew their songs despite the differences in their language and culture.
“They even know my parents’ pet’s name and even my favourite colour. Honestly, I won’t forget the sweet memories.
“That was an incredible concert and the show really meant a lot to us and our fans,” he told Astro Awani.
The band, represented by Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan and Feehily, will be performing in Malaysia at the Malawati Indoor Stadium, Shah Alam on 8 and 9 August as part of their 'The Twenty Tour'.
