We are officially counting down the days to the worldwide premiere of 'Avengers: Endgame' in single digits!
As the excitement continues to build up nearing what could possibly be the biggest film release this year, some people think it is cool to ruin the fun for everyone.
In the last couple of days, it was widely reported that a five-minute footage from the movie somehow made its way online, especially across sites like YouTube, Twitter and Reddit.
This caused mayhem among Marvel and Avengers fans alike, forcing everyone to run away from social media at all costs until they can catch the premiere.
The leak was so bad that 'Avengers: Endgame' directors Joe and Anthony Russo took it upon themselves to write a crucial reminder urging those who will be watching the movie earlier than others to stay silent.
Then again, when the time comes, there will be one or two "kind" souls who cannot shut their mouths or resist sharing all the emotions they felt from the endgame, literally.
So, another kind soul decided to create a Google Chrome Extension that blocks out all potential spoilers of 'Avengers: Endgame'
And guess what? This genius is Malaysian!
A Facebook user by the name of Ng Khai Yong decided to do all Marvel fans a favour by building an extension called 'No Spoilers'
This saves you from having to unfriend or block anyone on social media in the coming weeks, especially if you won't be catching the movie within the first couple of days.
According to Ng, 'No Spoilers' will automatically blur any post that mentions the movie.
The funny thing is that his own post got blurred out as well, unintentionally!
You can download the Chrome Extension here
, but just bear in mind that you may be filtered out from any 'Avengers: Endgame'-related post or search you may find in the next few days.
Of course, there is the option to turn it on and off whenever you like, so feel free to test it out now.
Some people have even asked him to do the same thing for 'Game of Thrones' since the first episode of the latest season just premiered on Monday, 15 April.
Maybe you should consider that next, Khai Yong!
