Michael Pena Has Been Casted As ‘Dora The Explorer’s’ Father For The Live-Action Movie
Dora The Explorer may be one of the most iconic children’s TV show in history and let’s be honest, Dora’s look and catchy theme song isn’t something you’ll easily forget.

The series may have officially ended in 2014 but last year, Paramount Pictures announced that they’re bringing back Dora The Explorer but to the silver screens.

Isabela Moner has been casted as Dora while the ever so beautiful Eva Longoria will play her mom. As for Dora’s dad, we’re so pleased that the producers decided to cast Ant-Man’s Michael Pena according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The best storyteller alive.
Can you guys already imagine how funny Michael will be? And what if he decided to pull the story-telling bit like he did in Ant-Man? We’re already laughing hysterically just thinking about it.

The movie will revolve around the show’s titular character along with Boots, Diego, and a group of teenagers on an adventure and mission to save Dora’s parents and also solve the mystery behind a lost Inca civilisation.

Wonder what will Dora ask the audience if it really happens...
We wonder if there will be any “Swiper, no swiping” or if Dora will ask the audience to help her find or identify things.

Filming has begun in Australia and Dora the Explorer is expected to drop on 2 August 2019.
