Ask anybody to list their favourite Hong Kong actors or singers from the early 2000s and they will surely include Nicholas Tse. He wasn’t called the bad boy of Hong Kong showbiz, one of the world’s biggest entertainment industries, for nothing!

Aside from being well known for his good looks, he was also famous for playing notable roles in Young and Dangerous: The Prequel, New Police Story, A Chinese Tall Story and Jade Goddess of Mercy to name a few.

And in a few days’ time, you, your sister, your mother, your aunt, your cousin and your grandmother will all be able to swoon over the handsome actor in person because he will be in Malaysia!

You’ve got to admit that the 38-year-old aged really well.
But just so you know, he won’t be here to promote a new movie or TVB drama because he is now a chef with his own cooking programme!

Didn’t you hear?

He’s not trying to be the next Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsay, but we must give credit where it is due because the first season of Chef Nic, which debuted in 2014, was a hit.

His show is a mix of cooking tips and travel stories with some of the biggest Asian A-listers by his side, including Donnie Yen, Jackie Chan, Fan Bing Bing, Vicky Chao, Nick Cheung and Angelababy.

This 23 January, Nicholas will be making his way to Malaysia for a cook-off against Canadian celebrity chef David Rocco in another original cooking show called Celebrity Chef: East vs West.

The show produced by Fox Networks Group Asia will see both celebrity chefs travelling across Asia, competing to see who cooks the best local dish selected by a local chef.

We're not-so-secretly rooting for you, Nicholas!
Local Chinese newspaper Sin Chew Daily reported that the production will take place at Sunway City and The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat in Ipoh.

So if you're a big Nicholas Tse fangirl or fanboy, you know where to go.
