In case you missed it, Taylor Swift is back with a vengeance after releasing her new single, ‘Look What You Made Do’ last week.

Just a few days after, she debuted the music video for the song at the MTV Video Music Awards, further proving the new Taylor Swift we’ll be dealing with from now on.

We didn't expect her to turn into a zombie, tbh.
And if you haven’t gathered from the dark song, the new Tay Tay isn’t very nice. She’s very much aware of what the world thinks of her.

But we still have a lot of questions after watching the new music video:

1) What’s with her newfound love for snakes?

Don't think it has anything to do with her Zodiac sign.
Taylor Swift and snakes go a long way. After Kim Kardashian unapologetically published Tay Tay's phone call with hubby Kanye West for the whole word to see (hear?), fans have been bombarding Tay Tay's social media pages with the '🐍' emoji. So, is she embracing snakes just like how Bruce Wayne embraced bats before he became Batman? So, will Tay Tay become Snakegirl?

2) Was she mocking Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery?

When Kim K was robbed at gunpoint in Paris last October.
Tay Tay and Kim K have a beef, that's obvious. So, is this a scene of Tay Tay mocking Kim K's harrowing gunpoint robbery experience? Certainly looks like it. If you remember, Kim K was reportedly tied up and left in a bathtub by several robbers who broke into her plush apartment in Paris back in October 2016, before they fled with £9 million (RM49.4 mil) worth of jewellery. Tay Tay sitting in a bathtub, covered in jewellery while making a gun sign? That can't be a coincidence, right?

3) Was this a dig at Katy Perry?

Because that tiger face kinda reminds us of 'Roar'.
Speaking of beef, Tay Tay also had a well-publicised fall out with ex-bestie Katy Perry. So, it wouldn't be too surprising if Tay Tay decides to take a little dig at Katy. In this scene, for instance, Tay Tay is seen wearing a sweater with a tiger on it (does that remind you of Katy's "Roar" music video?). Also, towards the end of the music video, one Tay Tay asked another Tay Tay “What are you doing?”, to which the other Tay Tay responded: "Getting receipts". In Katy's song "Swish Swish", one line reads: “Karma’s not a liar; she keeps receipts.” Oooohhh, girl fight!

4) Does she hate the ‘I ❤ TS’ T-shirts?

It's kinda cute, no?

While this could just be a harmless scene with a bunch of back-up dancer wearing 'I ❤ TS’ t-shirts (because who doesn't love Taylor Swift, right?), we can't help but wonder if this is a subtle dig at her ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston. If you recall, the Thor actor famously donned a white 'I ❤ TS' while they were frolicking on the beach back in July last year. Is that a message Tay Tay is sending to Hiddleston; that she can get eight men to wear I ❤ TS t-shirts anytime she wants?

5) Were these Taylor Swifts from her old music videos?

But we loved them!
There's a Taylor Swift from her "You Belong With Me" music video, a Taylor Swift from her "Shake It Off" music video, that Taylor Swift from the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" live performance and of course, the Taylor Swift from 2009 MTV Video Music Awards where she was interrupted by Kanye West. So yup, we're pretty sure those are old Taylor Swifts.

And most importantly…

6) Is the old Taylor Swift really dead?

Are you sure about this, Tay Tay?
Will her new album (titled 'Reputation' and set for a November release) be an angry, Rage Against The Machine-type of record? Is the "Look At What You Made Me Do" Taylor Swift just a phase? Will there be anymore break-up songs? Will she shave her head ala Britney Spears? And most importantly: will zombie Taylor be coming back? So many questions....

We're still a bit confused after watching the music video again and again. Maybe you can watch it for yourself and help answer some of our questions.
