The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring recently celebrated its 15th anniversary since its film adaptation, and the key members of the fellowship met up for a mini reunion. Dominic Monaghan, who played Merry the hobbit, shared photos from their casual hobbit-elf-human gathering on his Instagram.

Besides taking selfies, Monaghan, Orlando Bloom (Legolas), Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), Elijah Wood (Frodo) and Billy Boyd (Pippin) also posed with some cutlery in attempt to recreate the infamous Moria fight scene. The fellowship isn’t complete with other members missing in action, but it’s good enough to please fans from around the world after more than a decade.

After filming the trilogy together for so many years, it’s no surprise that the cast members formed a close bond. Did you know that they all have matching tattoos? Bloom posted a throwback photo last year that’s too precious not to share.

In honour of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring's release on 19 December 2001, Bloom also shared behind the scenes photos on his Facebook page last month.
